CliniDex is an assessment tool that is used to analyze the appropriateness of a prospective resident for your facility, document the resident’s current condition, and help you create a proposed service agreement based upon the assessment summary.

CliniDex Features:

· Assessment Occasions – Multiple assessment occasions are captured in CliniDex, including Admission, Clinical Updates, Supervisory Visits, Discharge/Transfer Assessments and more.
· Question Sets – Flexible question sets allow you to customize the assessments for your facility’s needs, eliminating the need for multiple assessment forms for specific subsets, including fall and Elopement risks, skin conditions, and vulnerability.

· Assessment FormsCliniDex contains a wide variety of both paper-based and online forms, worksheets, summaries and care plans to fit your administrative and staff needs.

· Track Resident Risks - Managing fall risk and elopement risk is an important responsibility for Assisted Living facilities.  CliniDex summarizes fall and elopement risk data whenever a resident's assessment is updated. Since the issues that relate to possible falls and elopement are incorporated in the Admission Assessment and Clinical Updates, a separate assessment is not required to capture their risk status.  These risks can then be summarized and reported.

· Integration with Services - Certain assessment answers will indicate the need for specific services. The assessment tool can be configured to automatically create a service when a specific assessment response has been selected. For example, if you determine that a resident needs escorts to meals due to cognitive or mobility issues, CliniDex can automatically create that service for you; it can do this because of CliniDex's tight integration with ResiDex.

· User-friendly - The CliniDex software module shares the ResiDex interface and is reported to be "very easy to use."  Each of the ResiDex modules shares a consistent user interface and terminology and is tightly integrated, so you never have to enter information more than once.  The system automatically saves "as you go", prompts you with likely default options, and limits selections to only show valid entries. Reports are available "in context" so you don't have to jump around through many screens to do simple tasks. In addition to this, training a new staff member to use CliniDex is faster, easier, and cheaper than training them to use a paper- based system or other software systems.
