The Pharmacy Connect – Outbound Fax by Residex™ feature sends scheduled faxes to pharmacists with important facility data, including refill requests, rejected medications, discontinued medications, changes to orders (such as medication times and instructions), controlled pill counts below 15, and medications placed on or removed from hold. Pharmacies receive a faxed report on a scheduled basis. Faxes are sent Monday through Saturday at 8 a.m., 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m.
What are the main benefits of Pharmacy Connect – Outbound Fax?
• Pharmacies will receive important information from the facility on a regular basis via faxing (already a standard workflow process in most pharmacies).
• Pharmacy Connect – Outbound Fax provides pharmacy staff with key insights critical to delivering excellent service, such as refill requests, rejected medications, discontinued medications, and more. This can greatly improve communication between the facility and the pharmacy.
• Pharmacy Connect – Outbound Fax is a service provided at no charge to both the pharmacy and the Residex client.

The "Check for Medication Interactions" feature has been disabled. The National Library of Medicine, our data source for this feature, has discontinued its drug-drug interaction application interfacing service.
This Works Better:
Public payers are now prorated based on the start and end dates set on the payer. This update allows you to capture changes with greater accuracy and maintain a readily available history. You are also now able to add "Services–Waiver" and "Services–Waiver Other" multiple times for a resident.
To update public payers, navigate to Profiles > Residents > Fees/Payers > Payers.

A: Select "Every X Days" and enter the number 14.
More Info: Bi-weekly means every 2 weeks.
